How long does installation take?
Installers say the on-site work usually takes a few days. Permits and product lead times usually add several weeks.
Do impact windows need a permit?
Yes. Window and door replacements require a permit, which the contractor pulls.
Can impact windows lower my insurance?
They may. Get a wind mitigation inspection after the install and share it with your agent.
